Unlike the other books that mostly talk about the successful way of life of young adults, who are usually the stars in the school and good at every aspects of life, the Perks of being a Wallflower focused mainly on the mental activity of Charlie, a teenager who is not good at school and the association with friends. To speak truly, I am getting tired of reading a book with a main character who is fantastic at the beginning and it is more interesting to read the progress of life, a progress that gradually lead Charlie from a teenager who struggled with past to an adult who looked forward to his future. What the book really want to describe to us has no interrelationship with Charlie's misbehaviours of his young life, but his optimistic and the positive viewing of his life at the end of the book.
the Perks of Being a Wallflower
It is a fascinating book, especially for teenagers who have suffered tragedies during their young life and who are struggling with making friends.
